The CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE is to help award non-federal student aid funds from certain colleges and universities.
It is available online starting in October of the senior year.
There is a possible fee to apply and only a limited number of fee waivers are granted based on the financial information provided on the PROFILE.

The Ron Brown Scholar Fund is a 501(c)3 public charity, managed by an independent Board of Trustees. The Program which was named for the late Secretary of Commerce and inspired by his dedication to public service, focuses on encouraging civic engagement among Scholars while promoting academic excellence, community and lifelong interactions. Recipients are young African Americans of outstanding promise who are offered academic scholarships, service opportunities and leadership experiences.
Awards $1,000 college scholarships to students in grades 4 through 11 who excel academically and are dedicated to serving their communities. Students must attend an accredited K-12 school in the U.S. An interested student must be nominated by his/her school to be able to compete for a Carson Scholarship. It is up to a school how to determine its nominee.

C.I.P Scholarship - Award: $1,000 / scholarship is open to students age 17 and older who are currently in college or plan to start college within the next 12 month. Deadline: May 31, 2017 NOW CLOSED
SuperCollege Scholarship - Award: $1,000 / open to all students -- high school, college, grad or adult -- who are currently in college or plan to start.

The CIRI Foundation General Scholarship - Award: up to $5,000 / offers general scholarships to full-time and part-time degree-seeking students. Scholarships are offered for the full academic year or per term. Deadline: June 1, 2017 NOW CLOSED
The Bounce Energy "Be More" Scholarship - Award: $2,500 /The scholarship is open to all high school senior and college students who live or attend school in the state of Texas. Deadline: June 30, 2017 NOW CLOSED
Gen and Kelly Tanabe Student Scholarship - Award: $1,000 / merit-based program that helps students fulfill their dreams of a higher education. Deadline: July 31, 2017 NOW CLOSED
U.S. Bank Scholarship - Award: $5,000 / Receive an entry by completing the online registration and get one additional chance for every completed Financial Genius learning tutorial – up to eight additional chances!
