Our Office - Eastside Starbucks

Witness and Celebrate Academic Excellence

We promote Academic Excellence in urban ZIP codes.  Since its Grand Opening on April 30, 2018, we have had numerous opportunities to witness and celebrate Academic Excellence with members of the community.  Sam Houston High School's Academic Decathlon Team qualified for the State Competition each year (9 of 10 years from 2011-2020).

Eastside Quantum Computing

Starbucks Regional Director of Operations, District Manager, and Store Manager congratulate two Sam Houston Hurricanes for completing the first semester of the yearlong Qubit by Qubit Introduction to Quantum Computing course, offered by The Coding School and sponsored by IBM Quantum.  Jordan and Jacob split a Starbucks $1,000 Neighborhood Grant for their efforts to explore Quantum Computing.

Prep for America's Best Colleges

Nalaniya is the Class of 2023 Valedictorian at Highlands High School.  Her dream school is UCLA.  The office provided the setting to plan a visit for her and her mom to learn more about the campus before the May 1 College Decision Day.

Kindness Fellowships

Starbucks Mission: To inspire and nurture the human spirit, one person, one cup, one neighborhood at a time!

Kindness:  Lending someone your strengths instead of reminding them of their weakness.

Kindness Matters!
